A Little About Me ...
I am a native of Rock Hill, South Carolina and relocated to Surfside Beach in 1992. My entire family resides on the South Strand and is involved in the Real Estate industry. I enjoy golfing, boating, all beach-related activities, as well as snow skiing. I am also dedicated to my morning work-outs! Big Brothers/Big Sisters Organization is one way that I give back to the community. I am an active member of Belin Memorial United Methodist Church in Murrells Inlet. I have participated for the past seven years in the Salkehatchie Summer Service Program. SSSP is a pioneering servant ministry at selected sites in South Carolina involving high school and college-age youth, adult community leaders and persons of different cultures in upgrading housing, motivating community cooperative efforts by helping persons to help themselves, and providing all participants with opportunities for personal growth and service. I along with my sister Judy started the Blessing of the Animals Service in 2006. This service allows people the opportunity to honor, bless, and remember the animals so dear to our hearts. It is held once a year in Murrells Inlet.
My 14 years of experience in outside sales led me to obtain my South Carolina Real Estate license in 1997. I started my career in Real Estate as an on-site sales agent, and quickly moved into the position of Sales Manager. This position allowed me to grow tremendously in the knowledge of the construction process from beginning to end. I was also involved in assisting the customer with their financing, and thus have a very good understanding of the steps involved. I am a member of the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and the Coastal Carolina Multiple Listing Service. In 2007 I was chosen for the CCAR Leadership Program and received the Realtor Image Award in January 2008. Completed Realtor Leadership Training in 2007. My approach to sales has always been to listen and learn about my customers' needs and desires. Then, I give 100% until I have helped them turn their dreams into realities. My laid-back personality and no-pressure attitude makes working with me very easy!
